My yoga teaching is built around the practice of yin and therapeutic yoga where poses offer more physical comfort for the body and are held for several minutes. This invitation of stillness allows us to go deeper within so that we can experience sensations and feelings that may have been lying dormant or hidden for some time. My role is to facilitate your experience while holding the space safely and supportively for you.
On a physical level, yin yoga targets the body's connective tissue, creating space within the joints, elasticity of the tissue and fluidity of movement.
One to one may be suitable for you if you feel that you need support and privacy to release tension and any resulting emotions that may surface.
Yoga sessions are held at either Mulberry House, or the Edinburgh Gestalt Institute. Both are in the West End of Edinburgh.
